SEHATist — Privacy Policy

SEHATist is operated by Nutraganic Biotech (trading as SEHATist), 102, 1st Floor, Raja Garden, near Joginder Nagar, Yamunanagar, Haryana 135001, India ("we", "us"). This policy covers both the SEHATist Android app and the sehatist.com website — what each collects, why, and what happens to it.
In short
- Your trackers — water, food, habits and streaks — stay on your phone. We never receive them.
- We receive your details in only two situations: when you buy a plan, and when you fill in the enquiry form on the website — in both cases because a person has to read them and get back to you.
- We do not sell your data. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookie in the app or on the website.
1. What stays on your device only
Stored locally on your phone and never transmitted to us:

This is held in the app's private storage. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it permanently. We hold no copy, so we cannot restore it.
2. No health or fitness data is read from your phone
SEHATist does not read data from Android Health Connect, Google Fit, your step sensor, your location, your camera or any other sensor. It asks for no health permissions at all.
Everything the app tracks is something you typed or tapped yourself.
3. What we receive when you buy a plan
A plan is written by a real SEHATist expert, not generated by software, so that expert needs to know about you. Only when you complete a purchase do we receive:
- Name, mobile number and email address
- Age, gender, weight and height
- Goal, dietary preference and activity level
- Which plan you bought, its price, and an order reference
We deliberately do not ask for, collect, or store any medical condition, diagnosis, medication or medical history. SEHATist offers general fitness and nutrition guidance only — it does not diagnose, treat or manage any medical condition, so we have no reason to hold that information.
This is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to a private endpoint we control, and arrives as an email in our business inbox. Your expert then contacts you on WhatsApp with your plan.
We do not receive your water log, food log, habits, streaks or health evaluation answers at any point.
3a. What we receive from the website enquiry form
If you fill in the "Talk to an expert" form on sehatist.com, we receive only what you type into it:

We ask for this only on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before submitting. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us (see § 7) and we will delete the enquiry.
The form does not ask for, and you should not send, any medical condition, diagnosis, medication or medical history. SEHATist gives general fitness guidance, not treatment, so we have no reason to hold that.
The submission travels over HTTPS to a Google Apps Script endpoint we control, which emails it to our business inbox. It is not stored in any database, and duplicate submissions from the same person within six hours are discarded.
The website sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and stores nothing in your browser. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request — see the processor table in § 5.
4. Payments
Payment is taken through our payment provider's own checkout. Card, UPI and bank details are entered directly into that checkout and are never seen or stored by us — we receive only a confirmation and a reference number.
When card payments go live the provider will be Razorpay Software Private Limited, and their privacy policy at razorpay.com/privacy will apply to the payment step. Until then no card details are taken at all.
5. Who else can see your data
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Limited processors:

6. How long we keep it
- On your phone: until you uninstall or clear the app's data.
- Order details in our inbox: kept while you are a customer and for 3 years afterwards for tax and dispute records, then deleted.
- Website enquiries that do not become orders: kept for up to 12 months so we can follow up, then deleted. Ask us sooner and we will delete them.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold
- correct anything inaccurate
- delete your data
- withdraw consent (though we may then be unable to deliver a plan you paid for)
Email support@sehatist.com and we will respond within 30 days.
For app data on your phone, uninstalling deletes it immediately — no request needed. For a website enquiry, email us and we will delete it.

Write to the Grievance Officer if you are unhappy with how your data has been handled. If we do not resolve it, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Children
SEHATist is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, email support@sehatist.com and we will delete it.
9. Security
All transmission uses HTTPS. On-device data sits in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Not medical advice
SEHATist provides general fitness and nutrition guidance only. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or manage any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical care.
The health score, BMI and calorie figures are rough estimates for guidance, not clinical measurements. Always consult a qualified doctor before changing your diet or exercise, particularly if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication.
11. Changes
We will update this page and change the date above. Material changes will be notified in the app and on this website.
